Monday.

T+1 and I'm still alive ;-)

Good night - heard Emma get up and go to the loo as I went to bed, she's doing so well at that. I'm amazed how quickly someone can learn this life thing.

Girls woke at normal time, around 6:15am. Did the normal routine today - up, breakfast, dressed, took Emma to school and so on.

Hannah was too excited to sleep this morning - probably I did the wrong thing by saying Hello to our neighbours when we got back, and then going into the lounge to take her coat off (so she saw toys). She was happy enough in her cot but was crawling around in it for half an hour or so before I gave up and got her. Tried again at 10am but, again, was too excited - probably happy to spend time with me.

Made her lunch and Emma's at the same time, Hannah did well but started falling asleep as I was giving her a petit filous! This was about 11:45am. Started getting her into her coat, and she was cuddling close to me - then I looked down to see she'd fallen asleep! Aww. Put her in the car and got Emma, (Emma held a whispered conversation with me all the way home :-) ). Put her in her cot when we got back, she wasn't too happy initially as it woke her a little, but she zonked out and slept for a good 2hrs.

Lunched with Emma and made this monkey cut-out thing:

I'd got the play pen out of the garage last night and so today was time for Hannah to get used to being in it. Sometimes she was happy, I played posting games through the bars to her and she enjoyed that. Emma was great, getting in it too and playing with her in there. At least now we have somewhere safe to leave her! Have to begin doing stair gates etc soon I expect.

Need to spend time clearing up the toy room - I was making a start at that this morning whilst Hannah was playing, but as fast as I tidied stuff up, she'd crawl over to me and start playing with whatever I'd just tidied and throwing it all over the room. Was very amusing actually.

Normal bath/bedtime routing tonight, got them both down by 7:15pm again. Now it's washing time - oh joy!
